Becoming a Resilient Parent
Date(s) - 10/21/2019
6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Missoula Public Library
Resilience is that ability to not only survive hard times, but to be able to learn from them and come out stronger. Why do some people experience trauma’s and come out the other side strong and positive, while others don’t? Being a parent adds a new dimension to this challenge as you work to manage life’s every day stresses and the big world stresses, while keeping both you and your children safe, healthy, and happy. Attend this workshop to learn about some of the science behind resilience. In addition, we’ll learn some practices that can help each of us develop and strengthen our own personal resilience as parents.
This is a one-time free workshop at the Missoula Public Library on October 21st from 6-8 PM.
